The programme was conducted on 27th February at Ulliyanadu MMK Exports Cashew Factory. 175 labours attended the programme. The programme started at 10.30 am with a silent prayer. Manager of the factory welcome the participants and chief guests. He introduced the chief guests and dignitaries presented in the programme. After the welcome speech Mr. Surendran Health Inspector of Chathanoor PHC gave an introduction about the programme. After the introduction the documentary on TB was played and all participants watched the documentary. After the documentary presentation Mr. Anil Kumar STS of Nedungolam TU gave a brief description about TB, its symptoms and the available support from the government hospitals nearby the factory. He also gave details about the treatment and requested all participants to refer the suspects as early as possible to the nearest PHC and support the society and health system for irradiating the problem from the society.
